After pinching some Andrew Jackson's, we were able to find the $$ to put gas in the truck to make it out again this year. We just got confirmation back from Denny last night that we could still get in on short notice. We'll see everyone on Friday. If we can get on the road at 6:00 AM like I hope to, we should pull in between noon and 1:00.
Look out Custard Stand...my girls are already licking their chops.

Wishing everyone attending the rally safe travels, good times and new friends.
We'll be a few miles north in Coldwater, MI for our annual family reunion camping trip. I'll be sure to toast y'all.

Enjoyed our 3rd rally. Thanks Denny (and Susan, Amanda, and Aly for putting up with him and the long drive). Thanks Crossroads for everything that you provided at the rally and also for doing what you do. It's great to buy from a company that cares about their owners after the sale. Everything (mostly money) and everybody (my employer) willing, we plan to make the trip again next year. I know she won't see this, but also thanks to M&L for the great food and to Leann for talking about her lifestyle with us at dinner.

It's about 7 hours, and start saving your $$. Tolls on the way out from Allegheny Valley exit to IN-9 cost me about $23.00 this year - PA $3.15, OH $15.00 and IN $5.50. But watch out on the way back to PA. If you come onto the PA pike from the OH pike, they hit you with an additional fee at the Gateway toll plaza -$11.25 if you are running 4 axles. You do not pay this on the way out of PA. Caught me a couple of years ago ![]() , but not this time . I stayed on I-80 and came down I-79. |
