Does anyone have a Dometic Refr on a slide? I just purchased CK320 Sahara and the refr is on a slide-out.The cooling fan runs all the time and is too noisey. I am in Texas so it will run much of t he time.  Is this a common problem?

I have a Dometic on a slide...mine does not run all the time and when it does I cannot hear it at all.  But, I live in the north, not the south.

There were some other posts about the same issue and concern.  Do a search and you should find them.

This thread probably should be under "General RV Questions". However, to answer the question, we have a 2011 335SS with the refrigerator in the slide and it is very noisy. Hopefully Dometic will eventually come up with a quiet running fan to replace the noisy ones.

In our previous unit a Regal the fridge ran all the time in the summer and never really cooled well , it was on the slide. If it does on the Rushmore we will add a slide awning. Is hasn't on the last 2 trips but next week will be the test.
