Was getting ready to put the ST22BH into storage for the first time and had this happen.
After unhooking from the AC power I was showing someone the slide when all the power cut out half way into extending the unit. Then 30 seconds later it re-set and I could continue. Same thing happened when I was using the power jack to unhook the truck. Half way through all the 12 volt power went out and came back in about 30 seconds. There seems to be some sort of thermal overload protection in the 12volt system. I have not found info on it in the "manual". Anyone know what is up with this? |

Are your battery connections tight? |

Yep, checked the when I was disconnecting the battery for a storage.
I almost always disconnect them when I store longer than a week or so. |

It sound like you have a circuit breaker trippping under a load. Thay are usually in battery compartment. Also check all conections on converter box. Hot and grounds.

Still having the problem.
This past weekend, if we had two or more lights on and the water pump kicked in it would trip an "overload" type delay. We would loose all power for 15 seconds or so and then it would come back on. Any ideas? I checked the grounds, it cant be a breaker since it comes back on itself. It will also do it if I run the power tongue jack for awhile. Need to get this one figures out before the long trips of the summer. |

I would say somewhere near your battery they put a autoset breaker and fed your jack and camper into it.

Seems like it could be a ground wire that is loose. Some times the ground on the tongue is loose even tho there is a star washer holding it in place. I would re move this bolt wire brush the area and reinstall and see what happens

I am going to retrace all the grounding points to the chassis.
This seem to be a common place to start. Then I will try to contact the service department at the dealer. |

There was another thread posted by 'Chz hed campers' on the same issue.
"Brought the TT back in to dealer this am. Service Mgr found a short in the power line from the battery to the converter. They removed the bottom covering and found the cord was rubbing against the frame at the in point to the converter, causing a dead short. Problem is fixed and a big thanks to Ted, the Service Mgr at "Wagners RV" who took it upon himself to come out to our home after work last night, to trace the problem. He notified CR of the problem." |
