I'm looking to get an extension gas hose to attach to the connector at the back of the Slingshot 2011 32QBH so I can hook it up to a  gas barbacue.  Does anybody know the size/dimensions of the female connection of the gas supply line?

I spent hours trying to figure out how to use that connection and finally gave up.  The supply line is after the regulator, so it will be low pressure.  Unless you modify your BBQ, the low pressure supply won't work because the BBQ is expecting the high tank pressure at its regulator.

If you do that, then the BBQ won't work connected the regular way.

So I gave up...

DO NOT GIVE UP. I rotated my tank a little and put a T  in between the tank and connection to the distribution jobby. It has a screw/quick connector on top....one fitting, some teflon tape and a 6 foot hose....camco I think.....it works great, coneects to high pressure, cost maybe 35 dollars...works perfect....no more small expensive throw-away tanks.

Tom,
I have been to Menard's and couldn't find them.  Can you tell me part numbers or brands or anything that will help me get what I need.

thanks in advance,

the first time I tried my quick connect the handle on the valve ended up in my hand.  I swapped it for a natural gas bbq quick connect, picked up a used 10ft hose off a friend, removed the regulator off my bbq and it works great now.

Tator....the hose was premade and the T-fitting went directly on the tank between the large plastic screw-on and tank. Use teflon tape and some soap water to test for leaks. The parts are found near the gas grills....they had a whole  end cap. I don't remember part numbers but it's Saturday and a trip to Menards is highly possible as I work on the "honey do" list. Although the trailer is on there....I had aftermarket Trail-Air installed and the gas line runs through the spring hangers. The Trail air has damaged the steel gas pipe so I'm putting on my plumbing hat and repiping.  I'm looking forward to seeing some of you at the Factory Rally.

I don't know what I was thinking.........the brand was "Mr. Heater." Part numbers 751 was the "T" I took the fitting off and put in a 90 degree elbow and rotated the tank a little to reconnect. The hose was #711 and listed on the back of the "T" package. But Menards didn't carry it. I must have bought it at Farm & Fleet. It works great. I have the Coleman Roadtrip grill. It doesn't take a ton of room and I have interchangeable parts.
