Anyone familiar with these sets or suggestions on a better TV for the trailer?

The little "transformer" on the power cord is an RF choke.  It's there to prevent RF from getting into the AC powerline.   The TV will not run off 12VDC unless you power it with an invertor.  It's strictly a 120VAC device.

The reviews on the LG show bad audio on some reviews. And it has no audio out to hook to your sound system. I would look at models that have audio out jacks so you can hook to your sound system for listening.

LG 26V2500 & Samsung 26D4003 seem pretty good. The LG appears to have a transformer in the middle of power cord similar to a Laptop Computer cord. Does this mean it can run on 12 Volts? Possibly with a different transformer?
