Hi everyone;
Just found this forum and have to say its so cool to see.
We bought a 2012 Crossroads Sunset Trail 24BH late last season, and just took it out of storage after the winter. I put the battery back in, and plugged it in, and it seemed to be fine. The trailers cord isn't long enough to reach the outlet on the side of my house, so I've used an extension cord to close the gap, with the adapter. Its been plugged in now for a couple days, and the battery does not seem to be taking a charge. I discovered that when I plugged it in, the stereo didn't work, which was a blown fuse, I replaced it, and it seemed fine yesterday, now the trailer is super low on the battery, and doesn't seem to be building up a charge....Looking for a little help. We're new to trailers, and do not know much about them. I'd like to be able to fix it myself before calling the dealer so we can learn a little.
Any suggestions would be great.

Check the circuit breakers in the panel and make sure none are tripped. Check battery connections, correct polarity. Check 120 volt outlets in trailer to see if you have power from your house.

If you have 120v in the house then I would find your inverter and check the fuses on that next. They do blow on occassion, if they are good then you will have to get a multimeter and see if the converter is putting out 12 - 14 volts of DC power. disconnect the terminals at the battery and check those cables with your multimeter.
Good luck.......

If you don't have 120v in the house change your adapter that goes from the 30amp plug to the 15 as they are known for being bad.

Be sure that the battery is connected correctly.  Trailers use the AC polarity convention.  Black is Positive and White is Negative for the trailer DC circuits and Hot and Neutral respectively on the 120VAC circuits.

I just had the same problem the other day. It turned out that the adapter was bad. And this is great site. Any problem and you will find someone that has had the same problem and someone will always have the right answer or at least tell you where you could find the answer.

Sounds very similar to when I had reversed the hook up on my battery.  Double check that and then go check your fuses.  Backwards battery hook up blew our radio fuse, and 2 inverter fuses (I think that's what blew).  You have to look really carefully at them because at first DH thought they were ok but they were blown.  We had power to some outlets in the front when plugged in but the back outlets had no power, fridge didn't work on electric or propane and AC didn't work.  Discovered this at myrtle beach in june last year.  It was hot while we figured things out!

Wow. Thanks everyone for the help. Turns out it was the battery hook up, when we took it out of storage, a friend of mine briefly hooked up the battery in reverse. Before I could switch it back it would appear it was too late, blew the 40a fuses in the board...along with the 15 in the stereo. Replaced the fuses this morning....and voila...all is good.
Thanks everyone for the time and suggestions...much appreciated.
