found this video.  There is a good shot of the axle about half way through it. The lippert facility. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjJftqxVfN4&list=UUlHXez4Up-PBb4VKKpMD2nQ&index=3&feature=plcp

I also found after some searching that 5200 lbs axles are 3" OD,  .187 3/16 wall..  Can't confirm because my camper isn't home yet, but it is good dimensions to start.

I got one side off of the ground. My idea of the center of gravity was off. I gave up with the one 10 ton bottle jack in front of the tires and placed a second jack just behind the tires. Alternating between the two jacks she came off the ground easily. Once the tires were off of the ground I pulled one wheel off. I left the other wheel on for safety sake. Under the first drum I found that the rear seal was blown and grease had covered the magnet coil. I doubt that the brake was working with the magnet that well lubed. Glad I caught it before traveling.
I repacked the bearings and doubt that I will use the Easy-Lube feature again.

If i have a flat on the driverside, even with all the tools in the basement and being able to change a tire lickety split,  Driver side, busy highway= cruisin for a bruisin..   I will be in my lawn chair up against the woods sippin ice tea waiting for murphy or a police car.. !.. lol :) Not worth it.

I need to jack up my 30skp to install a wet bolt kit, or Neverfail bushings ( haven't decided which yet).  My question concerns the gas line that runs along the bottom of the I-beam.  How do I jack the trailer without damaging the gas line?
