Does anyone know of a nice campground very near Omaha. Our son is stationed at Offutt AFB and we want to go spend a month. Want to be close enough to be convenient. Thanks

there is a base campground. site rates under $20.00 per day.
find out if your son can sponser you for a camp site. Also, have him find out if you can stay on the site for a month, as some military campgrounds have a shorter stay regulation. Google "Offutt AFB' to get to the site Then look up "recreation" tab and go down to "outdoor rec/aquatics. That should give you info about the camp sites. After the above reccommmendation, I have found that the campground was closed last June due to flooding However, it may be open at this time. The phone number is 402-294-2108 Haworth Park, Bellvue NE is 2 miles from the base and has favorable reviews Phone # 402-294-3098. google it for more info.
