Factory says anything 28ft and larger gets 4400 lb axles on the Sunset Trail.  3500 lb on anything smaller.

I have the same exact question and am hoping it turns out well.  I have a 2011 F150 xlt supercrew with the ecoboost and our new 32fr is set to arrive tonight.

I am concerned about tongue weight and payload (mine is 1790lbs).  We will load it for a trip this weekend and I will hit the the scales on the way to the campground.  I will be using a 12000/1200 Equalizer hitch.

Campground is 70 miles away and I plan to take it real slow.

I will report back when I get some news.

I have done a lot of research since my first post.  Crunched numbers as if I was back in university calculus.  Long story short, I have purchased my 32FR and pick it up in 2 weeks. You should by good to go.  The GVWR on this trailer is heavy, but you likely will not put even close to 2500 lbs of cargo into the trailer.  Just be aware of what you load into your tow vehicle and use your trailer for storage (even then you shouldn't be close to over loading the trailer).  Like you said, take it slow, but you are not over loaded for this set-up.  Congrats on your new trailer.  Have a great weekend.  I look forward to your post upon your return with your results.

Cheers.

We tow our ST 30RE dry wt 6,224 with an 09 f150 Crewcab, w/5.4 triton V8. My suggestion according to the Ford service tech, ad Timbren supports and max out the air (nitro) in all 4 tires, to 44lbs. (check door for max psi) Ford sets up their f150's with 2 ply passenger tires for a better ride, even with the towing package! Also you will need a good wt.distribution system with anti sway. I haven't had a problem. Happy campin'!
