The only thing I did not like about my 271 BH was the exposed back bunks.  So I installed a curtain to provide some privacy to the people who may be sleeping.  Please note that the lean on the curtain is do to my trailer not being level when I took the pictures. The curtain came from walmart and matches the rest of the curtains in the trailer.  The hardware came from Canadian Tire.  The whole thing cost me about $45.00 to do.

Wow, looks good.  The 301BH model came with a privacy curtain and yours looks very similar.  Great job !

My first mod on our TT when it arrives is to make the single curtain over the bunks into a double curtain so the top and bottom can close independently.

That is awesome.  Any idea where I can find RV curtain rods like that (in the US)?  Id like to be able to cut  the rod down to fit exactly.  Does the hang over past the entry there hit the slide when you pull it all the way in?

No the slide dose not hit.  As the slide does not go all the way to the ceiling it can't hit the rod.  I have had it in and out.  Everything is okay. I wanted to cut the rod as well and blend it into the corner of the wall.  However the problem was the way the wiring is done and stud location.  When I scanned the ceiling there was no studs there to use and there was live wiring right at that spot.

I wondered about the wiring and stud problem.  I wasn't sure how I would go about testing where the wiring was.  What kind of rod did you use and how long were the screws?  We were out in it this weekend and I still found myself looking at those bunks wishing there was a curtain.

Thanks for the info.

I am actually on vacation at the moment so I can"t check the name of it. In the meantime it is just a drapery track and you can get them at Walmart as well. As far as testing for wiring my stud finder tool has a scanner built in for picking up wiring. You can also buy a scanner separate for less than 20.00 bucks. They are great to have. Just make sure you have your trailer plugged in because it picks up on the current not the physical wire.

Gotta go board the plane l8r.

Thanks for posting the pics, how did you attach the bar to the ceiling?
