after almost getting into my cab 2500 duramax 2007 short bed I want to eliminate the chance of it happening,, anyone have any input about which to get a sidewinder or a slider,cost looks to be around the same. thanks ron in west tx.come on kerrville

Ronnie, I can only speak for the Sidewinder since I have never own a slider hitch and probably never will since I only drive LWB trucks. Our PP came with a Sidewinder as a one off deal Crossroads did. I knew I really did not need it with a LWB truck but after our first trip with it I realized how good it worked. It allows me to turn and back our 5th wheel like a TT. Plus it also allows you to hook up or disconnect at almost any angle. If you haven't bought either by the rally you can check mine out there.
