Just a note of maintenance I wipe the sensor off and lube the spring loaded switch for the fan. If dust or dirt covers the sensor the dome will not open. I also had the problem of the fan not turning on and found a little rust keeping switch compressed not turning on the fan. A little oil and it works like new
