I saw the front slide at my dealer recently. Looked really catchy and different for sure. my first thought was will it be prone to leaks? Also looked like u had better have truck unhooked and outta the way . Smile

Saw the slide in slide and front slide at the Tampa show. Liked the slide in slide but didn't care for the front slide so much. No matter where they place the bed they need to give more floor space on the sides all the way to the head of the bed.

Just figured I'd check-in on the Sunset line, the new floorplan with the "BOSS" front slide system has a base MSRP of $38K for a 28' camper!!!

Wow.....

Someone else can be the guinea pig on this one.  The front cap is pretty heavy to withstand headwinds, so putting it on a slide mechanism means higher pin weight and loss of side wall rigidity.  But maybe they have it all figured out.  Maybe the front cap will be behind the king pin as an alternative solution to short bed clearance issues?  You just can't extend the slide if the truck is at an angle.

Found it on RV Business News, interesting concept for space - I'd rather see a rear wall slide though... Ask any hybrid owner (I am a former owner) about how easy it is to keep a large opening of the front wall of a trailer sealed and leak free.... Heck most manufacturers have a hard time keeping a side wall slide weather tight and in proper alignment.

I wish them luck.

CR announced today that they are going to introduce an industry first:  A fifth wheel front cap slide.  Apparently CR is doing some upgrades to the ST line.  The new cap slide will make its debut at the Louisville show later this month.
