Please see the attached article.
It seems that those POL's can be a problem when they think they mistakenly think that there is a problem.
I wonder how many regulators have needlessly been swapped out?

I have tried all the above 'fixes' and still no propane. I think the valve on the tank itself is defective. I will take it into a local propane dealer to have it checked out and hopefully the CR dealer will reimburse me for the time and new valve under warranty.

Normally if you take the tank in question & solidly thump in on a hard surface,Hold it by the handles and drop it hard from a few inches still holding the handles and kind of hammer it straight down. That will normally free up a tank valve. If you changed positions it undoubtly is not the change over valve. In Rving with bottle gas over the last almost 50 years I have yet needed to replace a gas regulator..Just saying.. Jb

Thanks John;
I did the 'thump' as you suggested (I also found this same advice on other propane forums) and at first it did not work but the other forums suggested that I drop it from a height of 12 - 24 inches. I carefully did this and guess what........I now have propane!! :)
