Thought I'd post an update since we have been home for three weeks now.  With the Cruiser parked in the RVport, cell phone signal is decent including for the USB modem.  I have a macerator pump hooked to the sewer outlet so I can empty the tanks thru a 1" pvc line into the septic tank.  Don't have the water system up yet, so it takes several hundred feet of hose to fill the water tank.   We are using bottled water for drinking.  The lexan sidewall panels let in plenty of light.  So we are pretty comfortable.

As for the house.  All wiring is done and checked out including outside floodlights and GFIs.  Temporary lighting has been moved down to the ceiling fixtures.  Pocket door frames have been reinforced with plywood and sheetrock glued to the frames.  Water heater, air handler and pantry closets are finished inside.  Wiring run for landline, sound system and sat. TV.  Waste drains and vent stacks are done.  Water heater in place.  Still need to run the water lines.  Heat pump system is in transit, should be here next week so I can install the duct work, freon lines and set the air handler.  Should be ready for sheetrock by the end of the month.

Sounds like you have been hard at work down there.
You probably are anticipating the hot weather arriving, and would like to wind it up before that hits.

Glad to hear that things are moving along at an orderly pace. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the finished product in a few months. I am sure that you and Eileen are more comfortable now that you are back on home turf.

It is so nice to see everything is falling into place.  It sounds like you will be the first on the block to be rebuilt and moved in.  Hope to see pictures in April when we attend the rally.

Lloyd, you are so right.  Unfortunately, once the sheetrock is up, doing the blown-in insulation will be hot work no matter what time of the year it is down here in Texas.  With insulation already on the roof, sheetrock below and a work light, it will be sweat city.  Maybe you can send some really cold weather down, I'll tell you when.

Well, it was over 80 degrees here yesterday, good day to be on the roof finishing off the vent stacks.  With the help from a neighbor, the water lines were finished and leak checked today.  Also set the shower base.  Tomorrow it is time to set the air handler and get as much of the duct work done as possible, although some of the material is still in transit.  May be ready for drywall within a week.  Hopefully we will get some cooler weather when time for the ceiling insulation.
