When I finished the A/C/heating system earlier this week, the area in front of the Cruiser was empty for a few days.  As the pic shows, the Cruiser is blocked again with a lot of work ahead.
Six pieces for the bathrooms plus a two piece room divider made and delivered by a close friend for material costs only.

While I spent much of today sanding cabinets, the rock crew put up most of the sheetrock.

Larry,
Watching a rebirth of your home is fascinating.  I wish you would post more pictures from different angles.  It makes me smile every time I read of your progress. While bad things happen to good people in the end the good returns.

Art,

Now that the first coat of mud is on the walls, most everything looks white in any picture.  Things will look a lot different in a few weeks with paint, doors and cabinets so I will try to take a few more pics.  But I also plan to have a full slideshow available at the rally for anyone that is interested.

The drywall crew finished texturing today so we should be ready to paint next week.  I started staining cabinets yesterday but will have to switch to painting the walls and ceiling.  An interesting point, yesterday morning, the low temp was 35 degrees, temp inside the garage next to the garage door was 43 degrees and temp inside the fully sheet rocked house was still 61 degrees.

Another thing I keep forgetting to mention, if anyone needs a garage door opener, I recommend "Liftmaster" made by Chamberlin.  I have model 3800PLD for the garage door and 3900PLD for the RV door.  These are 'jackshaft' openers rather than the typical chain drive or belt drive opener, they mount on the shaft that holds the torsion springs.  This is a critical difference for tall RV doors where a trolly type unit would require a 14ft or longer horizontal chain or belt and the resulting sagging.  Anyway, the units are very quiet and have a program mode for setting the stop points and as a result, the unit slows down the last 6" of travel for a soft stop which minimizes stress on the door and track.

Larry, by the looks of those temps, your insulation is doing what it's suppose to.
But that 35 degree one must just about incapacitate you Texans, doesn't it?Wink
