That's the first I have heard of this.  My wiring is all "Loomed" and spot tied to angle arms or pivots.  Nothing hangs down.

We just noticed this today as we pulled the slide in for our journey home.

I thought there was a generic posting of this on RV.NET before but not sure, I know that they were not talking about Crossroads tho

go to your dealer. they can install a plastic flexible wire holder that will keep the wire up and bend  and or straighten when the slide is in or out. keeps the wire in place nice and neat.

Our dealer is about a 2 1/2 hour drive away.  WAY too far to be taking it to them for this.....

We had the same problem and the harness actually got caught and pulled loose. Now I watch it when we open and close the slides.

We had the same issue when we first got our ST the wiring bracket broke and let the wires get down between the 2 tires. The tires rubbed until we got to our destination and shorted out the lights in the slide.  Took it back to dealer and was repaired.  No more trouble.

Last trip out I was putting the chocks on the slide side and noticed the wires hanging down between the tires. Had rubbed on the tire for however long we towed that day. Fortunately, no damage to the wiring. Like the above post, the wiring bracket had broken. I rejoined the two ends of the bracket with the miracle of duct tape. Kept my eye on it all when I put the slide in. All worked well for the remainder of the trip. Now my problem is that my original dealer is out of business and the designated Crossroads service center won't get to my repair until October, being as I didn't buy my trailer from them. They're also 85 miles away. The duct tape might be my permanent fix.
