Looking at crossroad
. we are going to use it to snowbird in and also do a lot of midwest summer camping and fishing. We pull a 16' boat behind our present 5th wheel. What is the difference between a Kingston and a cruiser patroit addition?Confused

_popupControl(); For starters the Kingston is full profile where as the Cruiser is a Mid Profile.  Does the Kingson line even offer a unit that can double pull?

My guess is they can all double pull if you don't mind giving up your frame warranty.

Cruiser Patriot addition offers a lot of nice extras over the standard cruiser. Not that familiar with the Kingston.

Where did you find your patriot addition,or did you order it without looking at one?

How much headroom you have in the unit. In the Cruiser we use to have I had to lean my head over to stand up in the bedroom but in the Paradise Pointe I don't. If you look at the two different units side by side you will see the difference.

The difference is typically a flush floor bedroom and drop frame which allows a huge under bedroom pass through storage. Typically a full profile has about 6'6" of headroom in the bedroom. A mid-profile will have about 6'4" and a step up to about 6'.

The Cruiser Patriot package adds stuff that is mostly standard or commonly ordered on the Kingstons (solid surface counters, larger fridge, HW heater, etc. and 16" wheels and Rotoflex pin box).

If it were my money I would get the Kingston for the headroom and flush floor bedroom and huge underneath storage.

That is very true I hadn't thought of that, A lot of the patroit options are standard on the Kingston. The Kingston looks a little short on cabinet room in the kitchen.

I think the Cruiser Patriot is an extremely nice unit!  If you are no taller than 6 ft. 1inch then a Cruiser will give you the head room necessary and a Kingston would only be costing you more, but you would gain a little larger storage underneath... if your taller then maybe a Kingston would suite you better.. I know there is a great dealer in Michigan that sells the Cruisers... Midway RV
