2009 summer RV plan : Hi -

I think you'll find...

I think you'll find plenty of places to visit in the New England area. I live in souther Maine and vacation in the White Mountains area of NH. I must say between here and there you'll find thousands of miles to hike, bike, paddle, ride and swim.

I will suggest some must see's:

Maine's coast is awesome. I have lived here all my life and never seen all of it. Try visiting Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Lakes Region around Sebago Lake - one of the deepest with land locked salmon.

New Hampshire has the White Mountains area. The Presidential Range is a great place to see water falls, river's, hike, bike and swim. My favorite area is the North Conway/RT 16 area near Mt. Washington which is over 6,000' tall. You can drive to the summit via the auto-road, it's a thrill to drive a incline up a mountain over 6,000' in height. Once you reach the top you will find the location of the worst weather in the world with the highest ever recorded wind speed on earth.

There is much more, Vermont is a great place to visit, too. I love the New York side of Vermont with Lake Champlain and the many, many great places to see.
